Your photos, your rules

Choose who sees your photos: eligible matches, only people you have exchanged interest with, only people you approve one by one, or nobody yet. Until then, others see a softened image.

Your details stay yours

• Your phone number and email are never shown on your profile.
• Profile text cannot contain phone numbers, emails or social media handles.
• You choose who sees your family details, career, income, caste and lifestyle, section by section.
• Discreet mode keeps your profile active but hidden from browsing, and you can pause your profile at any time.

Contact only when you both agree

Nobody can message you out of the blue. Chat opens only after you both accept an interest, and you can end a connection whenever you like.

Sending interests has sensible daily limits on every plan, so nobody can contact hundreds of people at once.

Block, report, and a team that acts

Block anyone in two taps: they will not see you anywhere on Rishte, and they are not told. Report anything that feels wrong, such as fake profiles, requests for money, pressure to move off the platform, or disrespect. Our moderators review every report and can warn, restrict or remove accounts.

• Take your time. A genuine match will respect it.
• Never send money, and be wary of anyone who asks, whatever the story.
• Keep the first conversations on Rishte until you are comfortable.
• Involve your family early, and meet first in a public place or at home with family present.
• If something feels wrong, trust that feeling. Block and report.
