For families

Looking for a rishta for your son, daughter or sibling?

In Pakistan, finding a rishta is usually a family effort. Rishte lets parents, siblings and relatives help in a way that respects both the family and the person getting married.

Create the profile together

Sign in with your own number and choose who the profile is for: your son, daughter, brother, sister or another relative. Add their details, photos and the kind of family you hope to connect with.

Before the profile goes live, they confirm it with their own phone number. Nobody is placed on Rishte without knowing about it.

What family members can do

  • Fill in and update the profile, including family background and preferences.
  • See daily matches and explanations, and pass on people who are not suitable.
  • Suggest people to the member and join family introductions.

What stays with the member

Sending interests and private messages belong to the person getting married. Family members do not read their chats unless the member chooses to share. We have found that this balance builds trust on both sides, and leads to better conversations when families do meet.

Values first

Preferences cover what families usually ask about: religion and sect, education, profession, family type, city and whether someone would move abroad. Caste is supported but private by default, and you choose whether it is required or simply a preference.

Prefer a personal touch?

Concierge pairs you with a Rishte matchmaker who works with the family, reviews the profile, and proposes introductions that both sides approve before anyone is put in touch.

It takes a few minutes, and your son, daughter or sibling confirms it before it goes live.
